This space aims to mainstream women and, where gaps exist, to build their capacity by training and equipping them with skills and knowledge for effective lobbying and advocacy during various international and national processes. The forum also allows Indigenous Women to create a thriving movement with a collective women’s voice.
The Forum will result in increased visibility and inclusion in decision-making platforms.
Indigenous women are looking for spaces to gather and express their own demands; this will allow for more active participation in their own communities and in the national indigenous movement, with their own voice and a higher level of leadership.
